Job description
THE UPSIDE is looking for an experienced Retail Manager to join our growing business and lead our new store opening in the Macquarie Centre.
THE UPSIDE leapt to life in 2014 through a deep, authentic love of yoga and a desire to reimagine workout wear through a fashion forward lens. What the role encompasses

• Lead the day-to-day operations of our new store in the Macquarie Centre
• Recruit, train and build your team in conjunction with our Cluster Manager
• Build your VIP list and integrate yourself within the local community
• Inventory management and operational oversight
• Sales and KPI responsibility for the store

 
 
What you need to bring to the role
The successful candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, a proven ability to lead, nurture and develop staff along with a strong focus on outcomes and achieving results.
Ideally you will have:

• 3+ years of Retail Management experience
• A passion for Yoga, our category and Retail
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build and develop relationships
• A good eye for visual presentation and store execution
• A warm, friendly nature
• An affinity and eye for detail
• An agile, committed, self-driven and resilient approach to work
• A Customer focused collaborative mindset with a strong approach toward communication

 
 
What will give you an edge

• Experience in the fashion sector – particularly in a branded retail environment
