Food recycling guidelines for businesses in Victoria have been updated by the Victorian State Government Metropolitan Waste and Resource Recovery Group to help cafes and restaurants reduce the amount of food ending up in landfill.
‘Our Food waste recycling for business guide helps businesses recycle food waste by identifying and reducing food waste, considering different food waste recycling systems (collection service or an onsite system) and providing tools to assess and record different types of food waste.’
