The role:
 
  • Cater Care is currently seeking the services of a Dietitian to join our Corporate Food Team reporting to our Acting Senior Dietitian.
  • Working full time for a period of 12 months to provide maternity leave replacement.
  • The role will be based at Cater Care's head office in Parramatta, Sydney.
 
What this role involves:
 
  • Working as part of our Corporate Food Team, led by our General Manager - Food.
  • Working with internal stakeholders to complete nutritional menu reviews for Aged Care, Retirement and Boarding School contracts.
  • Provide nutrition and dietetic support to our Acting Senior Dietitian and General Manager of Food including the development of resource material and assisting with our healthy eating programs.
  • Some travel might be required.
 
 
What we require from you:
 
  • Nutrition and Dietetic Qualifications as recognised by the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) with APD status. (Required). Recent graduates are welcome to apply
  • Experience conducting nutritional menu reviews (Desirable).
  • Experience in the Aged Care and/or Independent School sector (Desirable).
  • Culinary (kitchen) experience and qualifications (Desirable).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including group presentation skills (Required).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • An understanding of the complex nutritional needs, including special and texture modified diets of Aged Care Vulnerable Persons.
