The Business:
 
Hypothyroid Body Transformation is an innovative and rapidly growing online health company based in Sydney, Australia. We have over 50 employees operating worldwide. Our business provides a 24-week weight loss program for women who struggle to lose weight and keep it off. The program is delivered online.
 
The Role:
 
We have an exciting opportunity to join our rapidly growing team. Our ideal candidate for this role is a passionate and experienced professional in possession of strong communication skills and a talent for creativity and innovation.
 
You will manage the development of content, created with the goal of strengthening our brand and making us a household name in this industry.
 
You will assist with the ongoing development of our brand strategy, attracting our target prospective customers using engaging content that draws them to us. You will manage the end-to-end development from planning to completion.
 
The role will require translating sometimes complex health information (such as hormones, thyroid, menopause, etc.) into interesting and easy-to-read short articles, infographics, or social media posts to attract and engage our intended audience, across various social media platforms.
 
In addition to the above, you will be required to act as Personal Assistant to the company Director for ad-hoc tasks such as booking and arranging flights and accommodation, compiling paperwork and applications, liaising with other staff across various businesses, managing emails etc. This part of the role will be only a smaller portion of your job requirement but is an important one.
 
What To Expect:
 

  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with our various business brands
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging social media content
  • Organise, build and maintain social posting schedule and processes to streamline and scale our brand presence across Facebook and Instagram
  • Collaborate with other teams, like coaching staff, head of marketing, and management to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Suggest and implement new strategies to develop brand awareness
  • Write and edit niche-specific copy for blogs, Facebook, Instagram, Infographics,
  • Work alongside Management to develop content plans and support the wider marketing team
 
 
What You’ll Need To Succeed
 
  • An interest and experience in nutrition, health, and fitness.
  • Experience with managing social media accounts
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and build relationships
  • Autonomy, focus, and professionalism
  • Open to receiving feedback
  • Confidence with posting strategies on social media - knowing when/ how/what to post
  • Looking for an opportunity to own this role
  • Able to adapt quickly to new markets or messaging when required
  • Curious and passionate about learning new things
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Experience in growing a successful brand is a bonus
  • At present, we are looking for a reliable, permanent full-time employee to start immediately.
 
Salary:
 
$60,000 - $70,000 (plus super) depending on experience.
