Job description
Tasks & responsibilities:
 

  • Deliver high quality, results focused 12RND sessions and drive results for members.
  • Assist the day to day operations of the Club, member challenges and events.
  • Develop and help foster a positive, motivational and community based team training environment.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours (split shifts and/ or Saturdays) and eager to be actively involved in growing the business.
Key Attributes: 
 
  • Have boxing and functional strength training knowledge and skills and be able to teach others effectively.
  • Experience in instructing group fitness classes.
  • Have an energetic, positive attitude and enjoy working in a fast paced team environment.
  • Meet minimum fitness level requirements
  • The role is very physical in nature, “hands-on” and lots of fun. You will be required to demonstrate exercises, get down, encourage and motivate clients. Another big aspect of the role is instructing boxing skills and pad-holding with clients. 
 
 
 
Qualifications & experience:
 
  • Be a FUN & engaging people person!
  • Boxing Certificate or Boxing Coach training, significant pad-holding skills
  • Functional strength training knowledge & skills
  • Ability to teach others effectively
  • Experience in conducting group fitness classes
  • Be fit, naturally outgoing, confident and energetic and have the ability to pad-hold and catch punches for 3-5 hour shifts.
  • Enjoy working with people and building meaningful relationships
  • Punctuality and flexibility with hours including some weekend shifts
  • Certificate 3 in Fitness (Cert 4 desirable)
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Be highly organised with a high level of attention to detail
  • Have outstanding customer service skills
