Established in 1995, Brasserie Bread is Australia's leading Wholesale artisan bakery, supplying handcrafted breads, pastries, and cakes to some of the best restaurants and cafes across several states.
 
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated person, with a passion for the food service industry, to join Brasserie Bread’s dynamic Sydney sales team. The territory covers a broad stretch of Northern Sydney metro, including the North Shore, Northern Beaches, Central Coast, Newcastle areas, as well as surrounds.
 
The Position:
 

  • Establish, develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers and small account groups;
  • Plan and organise your own personal sales strategies;
  • Work alongside like-minded industry professionals;
  • Consult with hospitality professionals on providing optimal menu solutions;
  • Acknowledge customer feedback;
  • Execute sales activities as per the marketing calendar and relevant company stakeholders;
  • Analyse the territory market potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers;
  • Identify competitor products and activities to target new opportunities;
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales;
  • Develop clear and effective proposals for prospective customers ensuring pricing and profit integrity;
  • Present to prospective customers face to face;
  • Identify prospective customers via social media, industry publications, incoming leads via customer service, word of mouth and form relationships with clients to be front of mind when they move venues;
  • Review menus and pricing to assess customer purchasing potential;
  • Manage accurate and timely entry of all relevant customer logs and tasks into the CRM;
The Successful Candidate will have:
 
  • Account management skills plus sales management skills with a passion for solution-based selling
  • A strong ability to win new and maintain existing customers
  • At least 5 years sales experience and at least 3 years in the foodservice industry
  • A strong knowledge and passion for the hospitality industry, comfortably communicating across all levels, from executive chefs and business owners to individual site and procurement managers
  • A strong desire to succeed and be part of a growing company
  • Commercial acumen, results oriented and target driven
  • Be a good team player while being self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Valid Drivers' License
