Sport Australia invests in national sporting organisations, including organisations for people with a disability, to champion the value of sport and encourage Australians of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities to get involved in sport. In addition to providing funding, Sport Australia is focused on improving the capability of sporting organisations to create an effective and sustainable national sport sector.
 
As a Coaching Advisor you are responsible for supporting the implementation of Sport Australia's new Coaching Strategy and framework, including project support of online and face-to-face education & training support for coaches & officials across Australia.
 

• Experience in building relationships to gain the confidence and competence of coaches and participation administrators to deliver on a positive coaching experience.
• Experience with project support experience within a dynamic environment.
• Experience in development of online education courses is desirable
• Experience in formal education environments or national curriculum alignment desirable.

Position is based Canberra, Melbourne or Sydney and it a fixed term contract through until 30 June 2024.
 
Whilst this current vacancy is for the term 1 July 2021- 30 June 2024, please note that an order of merit may be used to fill other opportunities, including longer term contracts or ongoing vacancies, should the opportunity arise within 12 months from the role being advertised
 
 
 
Salary range = $92,007 to 106,078 per annum + up to 15.4% superannuation.
