We are offering an amazing opportunity to join the team at Bondi Health & Wellness and take part in a two-year, paid Naturopathic Internship. We are looking for a passionate, positive, energetic Naturopathic student. We would be very interested in hearing from mature aged students undergoing a career change, or those who could offer extra skills to support our practitioner team.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Must be currently enrolled in a BHSc Naturopathy in your first or second year of study
• Must have at least 2 full years of study left before graduating
• Must be available 2 days a week

• Must be able to work autonomously and be self-motivated
• Have the ability to work as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
• Excellent computer skills
• Must be a quick learner with great problem-solving skills

WHAT DOES THE INTERNSHIP INVOLVE?
 
In your first year you will be working as a clinic assistant, learning all aspects of clinic management, in the second year we will start to introduce training in herbal medicine, in-clinic testing, clinical observation and career mentoring with Tania Flack.
 
FIRST YEAR - Training in:
 

• All aspects of clinic management
• Clinic operating systems
• Managing a busy patient flow
• Implementation of policies and procedures
• Dispensary Management
• Product training
• Stock management
• Ordering
• Stocktake
• Marketing
• Website training
• Social Media training
• Canva training

SECOND YEAR
 

• Training in herbal medicine formulating, mixing and manufacturing (once you have reached the fourth year of your studies)
• Clinical observation with Tania Flack – one observation session per month, 12 in total
• Clinical mentoring – 6 sessions in total
• Career coaching
• Bio-impedance analysis training in clinic
• $500 worth of vouchers for Extra-Curricular Naturopathic studies with an independant education organization
• Wholesale prices on staff purchases

At the end of the second year, you will receive career coaching support, references and introductions within the industry to help you find a position, or, you may be possibly offered a position within the Bondi Health & Wellness clinical team should we have the scope within the clinic at the time.
