Strength & Conditioning Coach/Personal Trainer

Physique Transformations is currently looking for a part time (afternoon and evenings) personal trainer/coach to add to our tight knit team at our private gym in Enfield.
 
We are not a commercial gym and only those who want PT and specialised coaching walk through our doors.
 
The role would ideally be suited to a sport/exercise science student (or similar) who is looking to work and gain experience while studying. Experience is not essential, but a being a team player with a great attitude and willingness to learn and grow is. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication, time management skills and a desire to learn and improve.
 
Involved in the role would be training clients in a semi-private setting (1-4 clients at a time), who are all working on individualized programs. You would be responsible for:
 

  • Designing individual and unique exercise programs for your clients, which are tailored to their specific goals.
  • Educate your clients on nutrition and how to use My Fitness Pal (training supplied if necessary)
  • Taking body fat measurements using skin fold calipers
  • Keeping clients accountable and providing support and motivation.
  • Maintaining your diary/schedule via our CRMS (Mindbody)
  • Client retention responsibilities
  • Deliver high quality Semi-Private PT sessions
  • Attending team meetings and staff days
We would want the successful applicant to become an assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach within our Junior Rugby League strength and conditioning/athletic performance program (League Fit Academy). Involvement in this program would include:
 
  • Deliver strength and conditioning training for LFA athletes
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to all aspects of health and safety as it relates to Strength and Conditioning
  • Progressive and positive engagement with the parent community as it relates to the individual strength and conditioning programme for boys
  • Assist in maintaining an accurate database of students ensuring athletes are tracked and monitored throughout each programme
The successful candidate will be trained and mentored by our Director and Head Coach.
 
To be considered for this position you will require at a minimum:
 
  • Certificate III & IV in Fitness / Personal Training
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Professional and Public Liability and Indemnity Insurance
  • Be vaccinated in line with current NSW Health health orders
  • WWCC (or be able to obtain)
  • ABN
  • ASCA Strength & Conditioning Level 1 (or the view to obtaining in the next 6 months)
  • Bonus points will be given if you have played and love the sport of Rugby League
