About the role
 
Located in Canberra, reporting to the CEO and a member of the Executive Management Team, the General Manager Health and Wellness will have ownership and accountability for the Health and Wellness portfolio and its people for Canberra Southern Cross Club. Comprising of Southern Cross Health Club & Women’s Gym, seven gyms franchises, Stellar Swim, Float Above (floatation and massage centre) and corporate tenants in the Stellar Building, no 2 days will be the same!
 
 
 
What you bring to the role
 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in management role in Health and Wellness sector, ideally in multi-site operations and membership-based organisation
• Tertiary qualifications in business management
• Experience planning and managing major business projects or systems
• Strong ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, to work collaboratively to achieve objectives
• The ability to manage individuals and teams to ensure strong performance
