Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Good knowledge about cooking equipment (combi oven, bratt pan and jacketed cooking kettle etc.)
  • Ensure good care and cleaning of all equipment after use
  • Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
  • Cook food in a timely manner
  • Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
  • Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
 
 
Can demonstrate:
 
  • 2-3 years of experience in bulk and commercial cooking
  • Ability to multi-task and have great time management skills
  • Following hygiene and safety procedures
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to lift 10kg to 15 kg on regular basis
  • Flexibility working in a shift including Sunday
  • Good communication skills
  • Remain calm under pressure
