Akasha Integrative Health (Akasha being the Sanskrit word for ‘ether’ or ‘space’) is a healing space in Manly that utilises an integrative approach to allied health.
Adding to its existing services including acupuncture, counselling, chiropractic massage, nutrition and Ayurveda, Akasha has opened a brand new space that includes the following new services:
- Infrared sauna — Cedar wood, state-of-the-art saunas by Found + Space use the penetrative power of infrared light to increase the body’s core temperature. Take 50 minutes to detoxify, increase metabolism and boost the immune system (and skin health).
- Ice bath — Activate the body’s natural healing powers using cold therapy. The icool controlled ice baths assist in minimising inflammation to build the immune, lymphatic, circulatory and digestive systems, enhancing the overall quality of life. Perfect for post sauna when used as hot/cold therapy.
- Meditation Space — Launching in May, Akasha will offer a daily meditation time table in a special space to escape the stress of life and be guided into inner peace.
