This new Sydney women’s health clinic has opened to support women moving through mid-life

Today, women in their forties and fifties are in the full bloom of their careers and raising children, often simultaneously. They’re in the most economically and socially productive time in their lives but instead of hitting their stride, many are struggling to navigate perimenopause and menopause.

Derived from the Italian word ‘ponte’, meaning ‘bridge’, the name for Ponti Health is representative of the recently opened clinic’s mission to transform women’s midlife healthcare in Australia by bridging the gaps in women’s health, with a space where women can come to feel as though they are truly held and seen in all they are experiencing and moving through during this period of their lives.
 
What began as the Co-founder of Ponti Health Hema Prakash’s story of ‘falling through the cracks’ with her own women’s health journey, has evolved into a specialised and comprehensive health service to support women aged 40-65 as they transition through the peri to post-menopausal stages. By empowering women with the support, science and evidence-based tools they need through a one-stop-shop of medical excellence that provides wraparound healthcare from physicians, specialists, and allied health practitioners with on-site nurses for patient and physician support, women will be able to flourish through midlife and beyond.
 
In a thoughtfully designed clinic space in Surry Hills with luxurious accents and atmosphere that lends itself more to what you’d expect walking into a spa than a medical clinic, patients of Ponti Health will be provided with a curated roadmap for a 12-24 month period, and assigned a Health Concierge to help navigate their health journey and to secure appointments with internal and external providers based on their personalised needs to simplify the process for all women to access the care they need.
 
It's clear that Ponti Health has been founded on the principles of slow medicine, personalisation, ease and collaboration with Ponti’s peri-post menopause specialist practitioners including a Gynaecologist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Psychologist, Psychiatrist, and Endocrinologist.
