Tanya explains, “trees are not naturally white, and nor is toilet paper.” Some conventional papers are whitened with chlorine bleach, which can create dioxins.  They are known to cause development issues in children, lead to reproductive problems in adults, damage the immune system, and interfere with hormones..  “I thought it’s crazy that we’re then putting it on one of the most absorbent areas of the body.  The beige colour can be a bit of a shock as we’re all accustomed to white, but once people try it, they won’t be disappointed and will realise it's the way it should be.”
