On Saturday September 10, BFT is opening it's doors to any and every body in it's first ever global open day - BFT Unlocked! Anyone can train for free on the day, and studios will be putting on a show with coffee, prizes and good vibes! Having just opened their 200th studio, the hype is only building for BFT with another 150 studios to open in the next 12 months. The BFT program is designed for everday people to train with the same principles as elite athletes, and having just announced a footwear partnership with PUMA, there will be a bunch of elite PUMA athletes at selected BFT studios. As well as some of the famous franchises including Robbie Farah who owns Five Dock, Essendon AFL star Zach Merrett owns 3 BFT's; Mitch Aubusson from Sydney Roosters owns BFT Ballina and Tim Paine, current Australian cricket captain, has secured the Tasmanian franchise rights to BFT with former Aus cricketer George Bailey. About BFT Founded by Cameron Falloon, a former strength and conditioning coach for various international soccer teams and elite AFL teams, BFT offes a science backed, community-based functional training program. 13 workout programs are artfully organised into 8-week progressive blocks utilising scientifically proven training techniques aimed to reduce fat and create lean muscle. BFT have recently released their new bespoke heart rate technology called BFT³, a world first in group training tech, which aligns with BFT programs and optimises member results. The technology allows BFT to show high level visual content on multiple digital displays so coaches can spend more time concentrating on members in opposed to showing them how to do an exercise. BFT use superior prescribed heart rate tech to drive members results. BFT³- Heart rate specific tech: BFT have launched their own bespoke heart rate system which doesn’t just reward high rate rates like normal tech does. This completely bespoke system means members are getting better results by hitting the correct zones. For example, being at a 90-99% heart rate in a strength class will not get you the desired outcome of getting stronger and building muscle, so the technology does not reward members for being in the wrong zone, encouraging members to follow the prescription.
