Big impact starts with bold conversations. Aussie fashion label Camilla and Marc has brought back their powerful campaign “Ovaries. Talk About Them.”, raising funds and awareness for ovarian cancer research, and they’re doing it with statement-making tees you’ll actually want to wear. For siblings Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman, this campaign hits close to home. They lost their mum to ovarian cancer when they were young, and since then have been determined to change the story for other families. Right now, ovarian cancer has no early detection test, which is why survival rates remain so low. Funds from the campaign go straight to the UNSW Gynaecological Cancer Research Group, where scientists are working on the world’s first DNA-based early detection test set to move into clinical trials within the year. This year’s limited-edition tees have dropped with three bold slogans designed to turn heads and spark much-needed conversation:
