Following on from the success of this boutique Pilates studio’s first location in Paddington, M.I.A Studios (stands for ‘my inner addiction’), co-owned by husband and wife duo Tate and Kamilla, has opened a second space in Alexandria on Botany Road earlier this week to offer the inner west the opportunity to feed their Pilates addiction. Whether you’re already a reformer lover or you’re looking to switch up your workout routine, the studio offers classes in a sleek space with inspirational instructors pushing you to be your best while you listen to upbeat tunes on state of the art Allegro II reformers. There are a range of classes on offer for all skill levels — ‘Initiate’ classes for beginners focussing on technique; ‘Elevate’, a high intensity, full body conditioning class combining resistance training alongside more advanced Pilates repertoire; and ‘Levitate’, their most advanced class for those looking for a challenge.
