Sydney’s biggest celebration of cycling is back!

On Sunday 12 October 2025, the iconic Spring Cycle makes its long-awaited return to the city streets, transforming Sydney into a car-free haven for two-wheeled adventures and a powerful show of community connection. It is the only charity ride over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and through the heart of the CBD and Inner West on car-free roads.

After a four-year hiatus, the event is officially back and bringing with it a wave of feel-good endorphins, iconic views, and impact-driven purpose.

Now in its 42nd year, Spring Cycle has long been a favourite on the city’s cycle calendar. But this year, it’s extra special as Lifeline has joined as the official charity partner. With a record number of Australians reaching out for support (someone contacts Lifeline every 24 seconds), this year’s ride champions showing up for mental health, and each other.

So what’s the vibe? The day will bring fresh spring air, two scenic ride options to suit every rider, and traffic-free roads that take you across the Harbour Bridge, past The Rocks and Opera House, and beyond.

From first-timers to lifelong riders, there’s a route to suit every level:

• 10km City Ride: A relaxed route perfect for families, casual cruisers and newbies. Roll over the Harbour Bridge, take in the beauty of Circular Quay, and finish at Pirrama Park where the good vibes continue with coffee carts, breakfast options and a play space for the little ones.
• 50km Classic Ride: For the intermediate rider ready to go the distance. Starting with the City Ride route, this one stretches through the Inner West and finishes at Sydney Olympic Park, where a festival-style finish line awaits with food trucks and live tunes.

And the best part? Every dollar raised supports Lifeline’s life-saving services, ensuring more calls get answered and more Aussies feel heard when it matters most.

Registrations are now open, with 25% off during the Super Keen period (now until 31 August), 15% off for Early Birds (1-30 September), and standard pricing from 1-12 October.
