Challenge yourself and your friends to 10,000 steps a day this September and raise funds for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance supporting the most common childhood physical disability in Australia, with one child being diagnosed every 20 hours.

Cult-favourite anti-chafe bamboo underwear brand Step One has partnered with STEPtember, an initiative that encourages you to challenge your friends, colleagues and run club mates to take 10,000 steps a day in September while fundraising to make a positive impact for people with cerebral palsy.

Step One has released a limited-edition design for the challenge of their undies which are antibacterial, anti-fungal and hypoallergenic with moisture-wicking properties and their innovative “UltraGlyde” technology which reduces friction when you walk, minimising the risk of chafing. Available in 4 different styles including a boxer brief and bikini brief, for every STEPtember pair sold, Step One will donate $5 to Cerebral Palsy Alliance - a ground-breaking, global centre of expertise for cerebral palsy services and support.

Cerebral Palsy Alliance funds a wide range of research, services and assistive technology that supports people with cerebral palsy to live their best lives. The research helps with:

● Babies at Risk: Identifying babies at risk of cerebral palsy and providing early
intervention therapies during critical early days of development.
● Essential research: From early detection and diagnosis to regenerative medicine,
epidemiology, innovative mobility and technology.
● Assistive technology: Life changing tech and devices, like eye gaze technology can allow
people with cerebral palsy to communicate.
● Start-Up Accelerator: A start-up accelerator committed to developing tech start-ups
that amplify human potential and reduce barriers for people with disability.
● Youth Programs: Programs that empower teenagers and young adults living with a
disability to take on new challenges and live their best lives possible.
