Sports fans it's time to vote for your favourite women in sport to be recognised

After making history and being broadcast on national television in 2019, Women’s Health annual Women In Sport Awards are back after a two year hiatus and it’s time to have your say with voting now open!
 
The Women in Sport Awards, are part of an initiative to ‘recognise and support female athletes on all levels of their journey – from grassroots to elite level – to help them achieve their goals and inspire the next generation of athletes.’ The Award categories that bring much deserved visibility to Australian sports women include:
 

• Local Sporting Champion (Grassroots Heroes) Award
• Leadership Legend Award
• One to Watch Award
• Champion Team Award
• Standout Moment Award
• Young Achiever Award
• Women’s Health Athlete 2022

Award nominations are open until the 9^th of September, with the list of nominees for each category being released on 19th September 2022, and winners being announced at a live ceremony broadcast by Fox Sports on 16th October 2022.
