Join our inclusive online community and experience the many benefits of practicing Yoga - on a chair! This Chair Yoga class is perfect for everyBODY, but especially for those who want to participate in Yoga but have challenges getting down to a yoga mat on the floor. It is especially suitable for those who are older, living with a different ability or have any challenges with mobility or balance. Classes consist of 30-40 minutes of chairasanas (seated Yoga movements) to strengthen muscles and joints, improve mobility, health and wellness. Plus, a beautiful 5-10 minute relaxation meditation which can help to reduce stress, anxiety and improve overall wellbeing. Options are offered throughout the class to ensure that everybody can participate in a safe and effective way for their own individual needs. Class is suitable for everyBODY - no experience necessary. Everyone welcome! Bring a sturdy chair, and any props (cushions, blankets, straps, blocks etc) that you might like to use. Wear comfortable, loose clothing. Shoes on or off - it's your choice! See you on the Chair!
