Join us for a transformative breathwork event on the 20th of July, 2024, at the North Steyne Surf Club, Manly, from 10 AM to 1 PM. This event promises to be an incredible experience of emotional release, mental clarity, and spiritual and physical well-being.
 
What to expect:

Opening Ceremony:

  • Ground yourself in the present moment with a guided opening ceremony led by Alycia. Connect with the energy of the space and set the intention for conscious and authentic interactions.
Deep Listening:
  • Alycia, drawing from her extensive background as a space holder, Alycia will facilitate group discussions and activities that delve into the psychology of connection. Gain valuable insights into communication, emotional intelligence, and the art of creating a safe emotional space.
Self-Reflection and Intention Setting Session:
  • Take time for self-reflection throughout the event. Guided journaling and mindfulness exercises will encourage introspection, helping you gain clarity on your triggers, desires and needs.
 
Breathwork Experience:
  • Be led through a deeply transformational breathwork practice.
  • Sympathetic Activation: Engage in a potent breathwork practice designed to activate your sympathetic nervous system, facilitating deep emotional release and inner exploration.
  • Holistic Healing: Embrace a holistic approach to healing, addressing both mind and body, as you navigate through layers of stored emotions and unlock the potential for profound healing and growth.
  • Consciousness Expansion: Explore altered states of consciousness without the use of plant medicine. Our method emphasises setting clear intentions and cultivating an open heart to facilitate profound shifts in awareness.

Who is Alycia?
 
  • Led by Alycia Davies, an experienced breathwork facilitator, EMDR therapist, and somatic bodyworker, dedicated to guiding participants on their healing journey.
  • With over 2,000 Australians supported in the past 2 years, Alycia is committed to expanding our impact beyond Newcastle, Australia, and into your community. Alycia's passion for mental health stems from personal experience, driving her mission to educate and empower communities with essential mental health tools for a brighter collective future.
 
About the Breathwork experience:
Breathwork is a powerful practice that uses various breathing techniques to promote emotional release, mental clarity, and overall well-being. It encompasses a range of methods, including holotropic breathwork, that help you connect deeply with your inner self.
 
Our body is where we hold emotions, memories and stories that often we don’t have words for. It is also where we can access our fullest potential for everything we desire in life.
 
Through this transformative Breathwork journey with Alycia Davies of morning mindfulness, you will be guided into a powerful experience, reaching altered states of consciousness in support of your healing and self-discovery.
 
This style of breathwork is inspired by Holotropic Breathwork which was originally created by Stanislov Grof in the 60’s. The technique was created to achieve psychedelic-like states without using psychedelic drugs. The Grofs believed the process of deep, self-exploration brought on by these altered states can bring healing and Holotropic Breathwork has been a tool for therapeutic healing ever since.
 
Alycia and support team will offer a safe container for you to reconnect to your natural medicines, your breath to break through and let go of old stories, reach higher states of consciousness where peace, embodiment, reconnection, love, joy, personal power, ecstasy, clarity and flow all live.
