Join us in person to chat all about women’s sleep, share tips, and find out what really helps catch those Zzz's! In celebration of International Women’s Day, Darlinghurst Psychologists and Inner West Sleep are delighted to co-host a free community seminar focused on one of the foundations of women’s wellbeing: sleep. How Do We Sleep?: A Women’s Focus is a one-hour collaborative session hosted by Elise Skinner, Clinical Psychologist with a special interest in sleep and insomnia. Elise brings extensive experience through both research and clinical practice, offering a thoughtful, evidence-based perspective on women’s sleep and wellbeing. This session explores how sleep uniquely affects women’s mental health, physical wellbeing, hormones, stress levels, and daily functioning. From balancing work and family life to navigating emotional and life transitions, women often carry invisible pressures that follow them into the night. At the end of the day, we believe Women's sleep deserves more attention! Combining psychological insight with sleep science expertise, this seminar provides practical tools to improve sleep quality, understand common sleep challenges, and develop healthier nighttime routines. Presented under the #GiveToGain theme, this free event reflects our shared commitment to giving back to the community and empowering women with knowledge that supports long-term health and resilience. Guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments while connecting with others in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Join us for an evening of learning, connection, and self-care as we honour women’s wellbeing this International Women’s Day.
