About the role
 
This role is a key member of the Nutritionals team, bringing skills, experience, commitment and passion to enhance, develop and add value to all marketing initiatives.
 
Working closely with the Nutritionals team, this role will function to assist in the development and implementation of all elements of the marketing mix to achieve and exceed budgeted volumes, revenues, market share and profitability of our Nutritional brands. This includes nutrition scientific literature reviews and analysis, product formulation development, compiling communication materials that convey key scientific review messages in language suitable to consumers and healthcare professionals and working within regulatory frameworks. The role will suit a professional with strong nutrition science and marketing qualifications and experience.
 
Key responsibilities include:
 

  • Competitor and benchmarking analysis of products/categories of interest to the business, including benchmarking key claims and trending ingredients
  • Developing complementary medicines and supplemental food formulations and claims, in collaboration with Nutrition & Marketing Teams
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders across R&D, Nutrition and Site Operations to deliver market leading new product development
  • Develop evidence-based technical materials and content on ingredients and products, to support Marketing team members with product messaging and claims
  • Assist  GM Nutrition to deploy the Pharmacy and Specialty education strategy and programs
  • Assist in asset and material creation for all levels of education programs
  • Partner with Marketing teams to deliver strong NPD Pipeline and launch support
About you
 
  • You will be passionate and a driven self-starter, ready to grow with us and take your career to the next level.
  • Together with demonstrated success in a similar role, you will have:
  • University level qualifications in Nutrition, with Honours Level research qualifications viewed as highly desirable.
  • Additional University Level Qualifications in Marketing, Business or a related discipline is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Marketing role.
  • Strong experience New Product Development.
  • Strong knowledge and/or experience in marketing products listed with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) is essential.
  • Ability to comprehensively understand and convert consumer, category, competitor, and channel/customer insights into actionable plans.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Results orientated, with a high level of initiative.
