The Good Place is set to expand with QLD location 'The Good Place on the Greens' Indooroopilly
20 January 2021
Ever wondered what a Sunny afternoon of barefoot bowls would look like but instead of cheesy bread and mash, you’re indulged with an up-market and totally Instagramable dining experience? Well, that’s exactly what The Good Place On The Greens Indooroopilly is launching January 16.
Taking over the site from a previous bowls club, this exciting new venture offers something never seen before; a high-quality restaurant experience matched with the easy-going atmosphere of your local ‘bowlsy’.
However, unlike other bistros, The Good Place On The Greens offers a menu that’s completely gluten-free, organic and sustainably sourced. As well as an exquisite functional cocktail and biodynamic wine list.
Co-founded by My Kitchen Rules star and celebrity chef, Scott Gooding alongside close friend James Mcgovern, the pair share a passion for health, not just in terms of nutrition, but for the environment and local community too.
“Health is at the core of everything we do at The Good Place, our food, our people and how we do business,” James said.
“By carefully choosing our suppliers who use regenerative farming practices, we ensure the land and animals where our produce comes from are in their healthiest state. “We are proud to work with these farmers because their way of agriculture is significant to the solution of climate change, not part of the problem.”
The expansion comes after the success of flagship store, The Good Place Kawana, who’s popularity has exploded since its opening in June 2020. Building a reputation for its fresh food, sustainable practices and thriving events scene. “We wanted to expand and give consumers more choice to support organic wholefood and regeneratively farmed foods,” James said.
From outdoor cinema experiences to live music gigs on the lawn, supplier degustation’s and more, The Good Place On The Greens is promising a first-class experience in a fun and dynamic setting.
