Health, Safety & Wellbeing Partner – National Role
Employment Term, Part time Ongoing 0.6EFT
Location: Any VIC or NSW Hub location – Choose a hub that’s close to you!
 
EI has embarked on a significant transformation that has been triggered by rapid growth across Australia. With the commencement of a new CEO, People and Transformation Executive Lead and People Lead, we are now looking for a person with a strong Health, Safety & Wellbeing Specialist background to work within a newly formed People, Culture and Transformation team and to support our leaders and employees.
 
As our Health, Safety and Wellbeing Partner you will:

• Establishing health and safety within Everyday Independence, such as structure, processes and policies
• Promote and guide leadership teams and team members with health, safety and wellbeing management and make recommendations for safety improvement best practice
• Undertaking on site audits regarding risk assessments within all hubs located in all states
• Support and contribute to injury management and Return to Work Programs
• Help ensure offices are COVID Safe
• Return to work coordination
• Develop and promote health, safety and wellbeing communications and initiatives including alerts and guides on key issues
• Deliver specialist training and advice to team leaders and members
• Review, develop and complete policy, guidelines and reports
• Lead health, safety and wellbeing investigations
• Work collaboratively on key wellbeing initiatives, such as online yoga, annual flu vaccinations, mental health initiatives.

• Reviewed and developed policy, guidelines and alerts
• Conducted health & safety inspections, audits and investigations and reported on your findings
• Completed and monitored incident audits and inspections and communicated with key stake holders
• Delivered specialist training and advice across the business
• Promoted a safety-first culture across the business
• Promote and implementation of Everyday Wellbeing programs in line with strategic plan
• Shared a joke and a laugh with colleagues and maybe attended a hub social event
