About the Role
This organisation is seeking a Wellness, Health & Safety Business Partner to effectively develop, implement and execute WHS initiatives to  ensure a safe environment for all, one of their six strategic priorities of the business. IN this business divisional role, you'll be hands on leading the divisional WHS strategy in line with organisational objectives, work on achieving and enhancing a positive safety culture, determine key WHS Safety priorities and assist in the development of a mentally healthy workplace initiatives to support the business and employees. Your day- to - day responsibilities will include:

• Establish an annual wellness and WHS calendar & action plan
• Coach, counsel and provide best practice information to managers for awareness of WHS responsibilities and legislative compliance
• Develop. maintain and exercise crisis and critical incident management plans
• Improve & build on the recovery at work and injury management programs for your client group

About You
The successful candidate will be a pragmatic WHS Specialist with strong experience that enables you to operate well in a team and have a collaborative approach to your work but also take ownership to work autonomously when needed.  You will also have:

• Comprehensive understanding of WHS processes and programs, knowledge of relevant legislation, workers compensation and contemporary injury management practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders when geographically dispersed
• Change management lead experience and able to guide WHS change programmes
