Marketing Communications & Content Writer

With a passionate team of sports scientists, software developers, industrial engineers and investors, we have built pioneering fitness products, underpinned by a range of patents and designs. We are now franchising our smart studio gymss, and we're about to launch our interactive home gyms in Sydney, before expanding further, and are looking for the right Marketing Communications Specialist and Content Writer to join our marketing team and make this happen with us.
 
You will:

• Be responsible for planning and implementing public relations activities. Promote our brand through media (traditional, digital and social) and other communications and marketing initiatives. Ie content creation and ongoing outreach to your extensive network of media players eg tv, radio, press, podcast, print, digital, etc
• Write content for press releases, articles, social media, blogs, app and other copy
• Own the organic side of our social media to make sure it represents our brand well (note that paid social, search and influencer management would not be your primary responsibilities)
• Assist the rest of the marketing team to improve marketing copy for campaigns
• You will work as a peer member in a small, talented marketing team, and directly with our Founder/CEO

• Excellent communication skills, specifically written
• Experience in modern PR, in Australia, for a consumer product or service
• Experience in copywriting
• Familiarity with social media management (organic content)
• Self-starter, that can prioritize, plan and execute fast based on high level goals
• Ideally already have Sydney media relations
