About the position
Inspired Body & Mind has an opening for an outgoing Receptionist/Chiropractic Assistant who has a genuine love of people and life. You have the opportunity to join a small team of health professionals who similarly love to help others shine in an uplifting, healthy, and enjoyable work environment.
There are two integrated parts to the role.
Firstly, you will be the smiling face and first point of contact for all our clients in the Receptionist/Admin portion of the role. Reception and basic administration duties include managing patient bookings, scheduling, taking payments, balancing takings, and overseeing patient flow. Experience and confidence with basic computer skills is vital and a history of effectively utilising social media is preferable. Good communication, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise calmly is essential for success.
Secondly, as a Chiropractic Assistant you will be supporting the Chiropractor with new and existing patients, documenting our world's best practice new client routines and progress examinations. You would also be helping support our clients on their journey to a healthier life by warmly engaging, maintaining rapport and reinforcing our healthy lifestyle advice. Full training and support in this part of the role is provided, requiring only a willingness and enthusiasm to learn.
We require the successful applicant to confidently and reliably fill this role for approximately 24 hours a week. The hours are typically:
- Monday: 1:00pm-6:00pm
- Tuesday: 7:00am-11:00am, 2:00pm-6:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:00am-11:00am
- Thursday: 7:00am-11:00am, 2:00pm-6:00pm
These hours don't vary often but a degree of flexibility is required when working in a healthcare team.
The hourly rate will reflect your experience in similar roles and the minimum rate is $30 per hour plus Superannuation.
Ongoing training, not only in your Reception/Chiropractic Assistant role but practice management skills and personal growth is an enjoyable but fundamental expectation for all team members. Seminars or conferences that require the team's attendance occur typically once or twice a year and are fully paid for by the company with plenty of notice beforehand.
