If you’ve been wanting to try your hand at pottery for a way to practise mindfulness and learn something new, now is your chance to do so — for free! Sydney female-powered clay community Clay Sydney is hosting a ‘Clay Day’ full of free pottery fun including pottery classes, ceramic makers market, exhibition and live demos on Saturday 15th October. ‘Grab a beer at our neighbours at Mixtape Brewing, pop in for a speed-class on the wheel or handbuilding before heading to our other neighbour, Poor Toms distillery, to view our member exhibition and a sneaky cocktail or two.’ Clay Sydney offers classes for everyone, from beginners to expert ceramicists, as well as private classes, pottery supples and even ‘clay at home’ kits so you can get creative in your living room! Ready to get muddy? Join in the fun on 15th October from 12pm – 4pm at Clay Sydney’s Marrickville studio, located at 146 Victoria Road. ___ Image & Content Source
