Imagine having to choose between food and hygiene. Sadly this is the reality faced by 3 in 5 of those menstruating in Australia. This Menstrual Hygiene Day, 5 female-led brands are coming together to take a stand to end period poverty, and there's a way for you to get involved. From May 26 to May 30, Lust Minerals, NU Harvest (formerly Naked Harvest), Francesca Jewellery, SNDYS and People Hair Care will all be collecting unopened period products at drop-off points around the country to support those experiencing or at risk of homelessness, domestic violence, or financial hardship. Every donation goes directly to Share the Dignity’s national network, helping ensure no person has to choose between their health and their next meal. Driven by a mission to do more than deliver clean, conscious makeup, Lust Minerals’ founder Stacey Hollands shared the confronting truth behind the campaign: “When I read that 3 in 5 Australians who menstruate struggle to afford period products, I couldn't believe it. But it's real, and it's happening right here in Australia.” How to get involved:
