Global Wellness Institute, the international NFP on a mission to empower wellness worldwide by educate public and private sectors alike about preventative health and wellness, has announced a new documentary series ‘In Pursuit of Wellness: The Art & Science of Living Well’ exploring what it means to live a life of wellbeing. Produced by BBC StoryWorks, the short series delves into the importance of wellness in every aspect of our lives, exploring both cutting-edge innovations along with ancient traditions and the people around the globe who are working to make wellbeing tools more accessible. ‘This extraordinary new series explores wellness in a new way: its importance in every aspect of our lives, the science behind both ancient traditions and modern innovations, and the inspirational pioneers around the world expanding the horizons of wellness to be more inclusive and accessible. The films explore a traditional tea ceremony in South Korea, office buildings working hard to support our wellbeing, and how answers to some of the questions about life on Earth can be found in outer space.
