We spend a lot of time hunting down wellness giveaways, but it’s not every day we find one that involves passports, plane tickets and a Japanese-style bathhouse in Cambodia. Yet here we are. Australian wellness experience platform Awakin is giving away a $6,500 wellness escape for two to Siem Reap, including return economy flights from Sydney and six nights at the five-star TUI BLUE Angkor Grace Wellness Resort. The resort has an entire wellness ecosystem built into it, including a Japanese-style bathhouse with an onsen, magnesium-rich pool and ice baths, alongside a dedicated yoga and meditation centre, sound healing temple and performance centre equipped for strength training, boxing and cross-training. There’s also a 33-metre naturally filtered pool, while the resort's Mahalaya Spa offers traditional Khmer and contemporary treatments for anyone wanting to add some extra downtime to the trip. The prize includes seven days and six nights in a private One-Bedroom King Suite for two, return economy airfares from Sydney to Siem Reap, airport transfers in Cambodia and lunch throughout the stay. Daily group yoga and fitness classes are available at the resort, although spa treatments, optional wellness services, tours and excursions aren't included as part of the giveaway prize. Then, of course, there’s the fact that you’re in Siem Reap. The resort sits a short drive from the temples of Angkor, giving you the option to balance your time at the bathhouse and yoga studio with exploring one of the world's most extraordinary archaeological sites. Entry is completely free, with no purchase required, and you only need to complete the online entry form. You're limited to one entry per person. The competition is open to residents aged 18 and over in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland, with the included flights departing from Sydney. Alternative Australian departure cities may be possible by arrangement, although the winner will need to cover any additional fare or travel costs. The trip will need to be taken during available low-season periods, with peak periods, public holidays and special-event dates excluded from the standard prize. Entries close at 1pm Sydney time on October 24, 2026, with the winner drawn later that day.
