If you’re a fan of reaping the benefits of cold plunges, now you can take an icy dip to benefit that not only benefits your own health, but helps to raise money to help individuals and families suffering with cancer and cancer loss.
Daffodil Day is coming up on August 31, a national annual
Cancer Council initiative with a goal to raise much-needed funding for cancer research in Australia, this year aiming to raise even more than last year’s incredible $2.5 million.
This winter, Cancer Council is inviting you to take a cold plunge for the one in two Aussies affected by cancer by the age of 85. Simply pick a day in August to take a cold plunge in the ocean or pool, set up your fundraising page on FB and spread the word — you’ll even receive a free swim cap to wear for your plunge when you sign up to tackle the challenge.
