Waverly based gluten-free bakery Wholegreen Bakery has officially taken out the title of Overall Pastry Champion for 2022 by the Royal Sydney Fine Food Show —  ‘All Sydney Royal Competitions, even those not connected directly to the land, are geared toward promoting, fostering and encouraging the sustainable development of rural communities and agriculture in Australia.’
 
In a huge win for coeliacs and healthy eaters alike showcasing just how good gluten-free alternatives can be, Wholegreen’s widely-tested and newly formulated puff pastry recipe, the Gluten-Free Sausage Roll, took out the overall Pastry Championship against glutenous pastries.
