Introducing Hey You, the app that is helping to bring more traffic back into struggling restaurants, cafes and fast-food venues while also saving their customers’ time by helping them beat the queue. 
 
Hey You allows customers to order and pay ahead of time, so that their order will be ready for them when they arrive at their desired café. This allows them to get their order faster so they can get on with their day. It’s the perfect solution for those who want to get out of the house, but who also don’t want to spend time waiting in a line. Hey You also has search functionality, allowing customers to discover new cafes and eateries in their area or find the best places in areas that they are visiting.  
 
For café owners, it can take the burden off during peak periods, especially with many staff going down with the flu or Covid-19 and the app has been known to bring up to 30% more business to cafes. 
 
Hey You was founded in Sydney by Rebekah Campbell back in 2015 as a result of a merger between Aussie tech start-ups Posse, Beat the Q and eCoffee Card. It became popular fast with over 60, 000 users in metro areas on the east coast of Australia. Since the lockdowns, more cafes have been signing up as more people are keen to get in and out to get their coffees.
