A new sauna and recovery studio is coming to Lane Cove and you could be one of the first to view it. Sydney's Lower North Shore is getting a new destination for relaxation and recovery, with Kove Recovery preparing to open its doors in the heart of Lane Cove. Located at 79–83 Longueville Road, the boutique wellness studio will bring together a range of popular recovery treatments, including Finnish and infrared saunas, hot and cold bathing, red-light therapy and Normatec compression therapy. Designed as a dedicated space for rest and recovery, Kove will offer locals an opportunity to incorporate these treatments into their regular wellness routines, without having to travel into the city. A range of recovery treatments under one roof One of Kove's main attractions is its combination of heat, cold and technology-assisted recovery experiences. The studio's Finnish sauna will offer traditional dry heat, while its infrared sauna provides a different heating experience using infrared radiation. Both are popular for relaxation, with sauna bathing also being investigated for its potential cardiovascular and wellbeing benefits. For those interested in contrast therapy, Kove's hot and cold bathing facilities will provide an opportunity to alternate between different water temperatures, a practice commonly used by athletes and wellness enthusiasts. The studio will also offer red-light therapy, which uses specific wavelengths of light and is being researched for applications including skin health and muscle recovery, alongside Normatec compression boots designed to provide sequential air compression to the legs.
