Sydney's Floating Sauna Just Got A Luxury Upgrade At Pier One

Sydney's floating sauna experience just got a little more luxurious, with Pier One Sydney Harbour teaming up with Wellness Afloat to introduce two new harbourside wellness packages that combine sauna sessions, cold plunges and waterfront hospitality.
 
You might remember Wellness Afloat from its launch last year, when it introduced Sydney to The ARK, a floating wellness sanctuary anchored in Berry's Bay, complete with a wood-fired cedar sauna, mineral plunges and panoramic views of the Harbour Bridge.
 
Now, thanks to its new partnership with Pier One, you can begin your wellness experience directly from the hotel's private pontoon, where a boat will whisk you across the harbour to The ARK for two hours of heat, cold therapy and relaxation.
 
There are two experiences to choose from, depending on whether you're planning some quality time with someone special or prefer a more social sauna session.
 
The Romantic Harbour Escape is a private experience for two, priced at $550 per couple. Along with the return boat transfer, you'll enjoy exclusive use of the floating sauna and plunge facilities, with towels, refreshments and light snacks included. Once you're back on dry land, Pier Bar will have a complimentary glass of bubbles waiting for each of you.
 
If you want to make an afternoon of it, there's also the option to upgrade with a reserved waterfront cabana, French Champagne, freshly shucked oysters and a grazing board.
 
The Collective Sauna & Wellness Experience, priced at $215 per person, offers a shared two-hour session featuring the same wood-fired sauna, mineral plunge or cold shower and relaxation lounge, with herbal tea, wellness juice and light snacks provided.
 
You'll also receive 20% off food and drinks at Pier Bar afterwards, giving you another excuse to linger by the water a little longer.
 
Both experiences are now available to book through Pier One Sydney Harbour, with hotel guests also able to arrange their sessions directly through the hotel's guest services team.
