SurFebruary, an annual event where participants raise money for Cancer Research by surfing every day for the month of February, has taken out The Greater Good award at the annual Australian Surfing Awards held on 4th May following raising almost $400k for Chris O'Brien Lifehouse. The 'Greater Good Award' is awarded to a person or group who has ‘made a significant contribution to the development of surfing in this country’.
