Under Armour, the global leader in sporting performance apparel, has partnered with AusFitness Expo, the largest fitness and health festival in Australia taking place this year on 28-30 April. This exciting partnership aims to promote health and fitness in the community and take the fitness industry to new heights in the region. As a key sponsor, Under Armour will be powering "The Arena," a dedicated 432m2 area within the Expo Hall. The Arena will host the new two-day UA Combine Pre-Season training competition for established and aspiring athletes to showcase their skills before the official UA Combine event later this year, and will test participant’s limits on speed, strength, stamina, endurance and mental resilience. The challenges include the max speed run, bench press 3rm, metronome pull-up test and cognitive reaction test, as well as a series of ‘wild card battles’ for top athletes and industry pros. “This partnership is a huge step towards taking AusFitness Expo and the fitness and wellness industry to new heights in our region. Let’s see what we can achieve together!” — Shaun Krenz, AusFitness Expo Founder. Registration for the ultimate strength, conditioning, functional and endurance fitness challenge UA Combine Pre-Season is free to anyone who purchases a ticket for the expo with prizes up for grabs for the first, second and third placed athletes in the men’s, women’s and team divisions. ___
