Wander began with a desire to transform how Aussies escape, taking on the hotel industry by creating a transformational, rather than transactional, approach to travel. By 2030, regional travel as an industry is set to hit an incredible $68 billion, so now is the perfect time to invest in wellness tourism experiences in Australia. Since their launch in December 2021, Wander has gained $3.13m in funding and generated $2m in revenue, while inspiring over 5,000 travellers to reconnect with nature through staying in their ‘WanderPods’. WanderPods meet the growing demand for modern and functional but sustainable places for people to take time out of their hectic lives and reconnect with nature and themselves, combining luxury and nature through intentionally minimalist design with solar power, rainwater harvesting and an advanced wastewater treatment for grey and black water.
