Women’s Health Week is putting the spotlight back on the health issues affecting Australian women this week, and the timing couldn’t be better for the arrival of a new locally made supplement range targeting everything from hormones and gut health to fatigue, blood sugar and hair loss.
 
The Collagen Co., the Melbourne-founded brand best known for its collagen powders and beauty supplements, has expanded into broader women’s health with the launch of V Life, a new collection of four targeted daily formulas.
 
Rather than creating one catch-all women’s multivitamin, the range separates some of the most common health and wellbeing concerns women experience into four formulas: Luna V for hormonal support, Flaura V for gut health and bloating, Body V for energy and metabolic support, and Beauty V for hair, skin and nails.
 
Luna V is perhaps the most comprehensive of the four, designed to support women across different hormonal stages rather than focusing solely on periods or menopause. Its eight-ingredient formula includes vitex, traditionally used to support menstrual cycle regularity and relieve PMS symptoms; shatavari and sage for menopausal symptoms including hot flushes and night sweats; and KSM-66® ashwagandha and saffron for additional hormonal and emotional wellbeing support.
 
The formula contains 600mg of KSM-66® ashwagandha, alongside 500mg shatavari, 120mg sage, 25.2mg saffron, 300mg cramp bark and 40mg vitex, plus zinc and vitamin D3.
 
Gut health gets its own dedicated formula with Flaura V, which brings together seven botanicals and nutrients. Peppermint, chamomile and lemon balm have been included for digestive comfort and bloating, while slippery elm and marshmallow root are traditionally used to soothe and support the gut lining. Ginger and magnesium round out the formula.
 
Body V takes a different direction, targeting energy, blood sugar, sugar cravings and body composition. Its 14-ingredient formula includes Panax ginseng, traditionally used for fatigue and vitality, alongside white mulberry and chromium to support healthy blood glucose levels. It also contains Morosil®, a branded blood orange extract studied for its potential role in supporting body composition and weight management when used alongside diet and exercise, as well as B vitamins, magnesium, L-carnitine and alpha-lipoic acid.
 
The final addition, Beauty V, brings the range closer to The Collagen Co.’s beauty roots, but this time without collagen. The capsule formula targets hair growth and thinning alongside skin hydration, elasticity and nail strength, using ingredients including Ceramosides™, saw palmetto, biotin, silica, zinc, selenium, vitamin C and cysteine.
 
While the four formulas target very different concerns, the concept behind V Life is personalisation. You can choose the formula most relevant to what you’re experiencing or combine different products, with The Collagen Co. positioning the range as targeted support that can sit alongside its existing collagen products.
 
All four formulas are made in Australia to GMP manufacturing standards and are free from gluten, dairy, soy and peanuts. Each is taken as four capsules daily and contains a 28-day supply.
