UBX, the world’s fastest-growing boxing fitness franchise, has just announced their first U.S. location, launching in Larchmont, New York, only minutes away from New York City. UBX Larchmont launched to the public in June 2023, after commencing pre-sales in April. This milestone marks an exciting chapter in the company's growth strategy as it establishes its presence in a new international market, marking its 6th country. It’s a move that will take UBX one step closer to its goal of being the largest boxing provider in the world. Founded by fitness and tech entrepreneur Tim West and four-time world champion boxer Danny Green, UBX Boxing + Strength is a global success story, with more than 100 locations across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Ireland, the UK and now the U.S, with more than 400 additional gyms contracted to open including in Japan later this year Speaking of the U.S. opening, UBX Managing Director West notes that “Our mission is to give everyone the opportunity to train like a boxer without stepping into the ring. We want to create the largest boxing community worldwide…Boxing is experiencing a new golden era and demand follows public interest. This is a great time to enter the U.S. fitness arena with a proven boxing product”. The first UBX franchise in America is headed by Jamie Baum, a very experienced fitness operator, who has spent his career growing fitness businesses for other people. Jamie brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, making him the ideal Franchisee to launch UBX’s first location. Jamie said “UBX is one of those models that just make sense. If you think about the main reasons people stop being consistent, it is because of convenience and community. We fix both of those problems, and the model lets us do it better than anyone else.” As part of its expansion strategy, UBX plans to open aggressively across America, enabling more people to experience the benefits of boxing. The initial launch will focus on the New York Tri-state (New York, Connecticut & New Jersey), with experienced business or fitness operators being selected as founding Franchisees.
