XtraClubs Is Bringing Its Bathhouse Experience to Parramatta

XtraClubs has announced plans to open its fifth Sydney location in Parramatta this October, bringing its signature mix of Finnish saunas, infrared saunas, steam rooms and ice baths to the heart of Western Sydney.

Opening at 7 Charles Street, the new club continues the brand's rapid expansion across Sydney and reflects the growing appetite for bathhouse experiences beyond the city's eastern suburbs and inner city.

Like its existing locations, XtraClubs Parramatta has been designed as a self-guided wellness space where guests can move between hot and cold therapy at their own pace. The new club will feature two traditional Finnish saunas, three infrared saunas, a steam room and six ice baths, giving visitors plenty of ways to tailor their wellness experience.

Guests will also be able to take part in the brand's popular Guided Sessions, inspired by European Aufguss traditions and combining breathwork, essential oils and immersive sauna rituals. On Saturday evenings, Social Sessions will be available creating an alcohol-free space where guests can enjoy music, conversation and mocktails between circuits.

Since launching just over two years ago, XtraClubs has expanded quickly with locations in Bondi Junction, Green Square, Marrickville and Manly. The brand has built a following by pairing premium bathhouse facilities with a membership model that makes regular sauna and cold therapy more accessible, while also becoming known for what it says is the Southern Hemisphere's largest Finnish sauna.

The Parramatta opening comes as Sydney's bathhouse scene continues to evolve, with more wellness destinations opening across the city as interest in sauna bathing and contrast therapy continues to grow.
Founding memberships are now available ahead of the late October opening, with introductory pricing starting from $19.95 per week for a limited time.
