South-West Sydney has a new place to move, recover and linger over a coffee, with Casa Solara now open in Smeaton Grange. Bringing hot yoga, Pilates, reformer Pilates, sauna, ice baths and a café together under one roof, the new wellness space has been designed around both sides of the equation: getting your body moving and giving it somewhere to slow down afterwards. while the line-up alone caught our attention, it’s the interiors that give Casa Solara its own distinct identity. True to the warmth suggested by its name, Casa Solara is wrapped in earthy, sun-baked tones, soft lighting, curved walls and arched mirrors. The neutral yoga and mat Pilates spaces are calm and pared back, while the reformer studio takes a moodier turn with deep crimson walls and reformers. The same warm palette continues through the café and recovery areas, tying each part of Casa Solara together. On the movement side, the timetable spans heated and non-heated yoga and Pilates, with infrared heating used in selected studio classes. There’s also a dedicated reformer offering focused on strength, posture and core stability. Head further into the space and you'll find Casa Solara's recovery facilities, where sauna and ice bath sessions give members the option to add some downtime to their training routine. Sessions can also be incorporated into selected memberships, so you can move and recover in the same visit. The on-site café completes the picture. Details on exactly what will be pouring and plating up are still limited, but its inclusion adds another layer to Casa Solara's community-focused approach, and gives you somewhere to land after class rather than heading straight for the car. Casa Solara is launching with three membership options: Casa Balance, which includes three yoga, Pilates or studio classes each week plus one sauna session; Casa Unlimited, offering unlimited yoga, Pilates and studio classes; and Casa Restore, which includes two 75-minute sauna and ice bath sessions each week. Foundation memberships are priced at $59, with the next membership tier advertised at $69 and standard memberships at $79. Casa Solara says places at the introductory rates are limited, with earlier members securing the lower rate. You'll find Casa Solara at 9/14–16 Exchange Parade, Smeaton Grange NSW 2567.
